Daily assistance to both full members and ad hoc clients:
You can either become a full member (monthly retainer fee) or utilise us on an ad hoc basis. Full members have the advantage that services are rendered for a fixed monthly retainer and a minimum charge for expenses. As an ad hoc client you will be billed for all services rendered.
Full member:
The following services are free to full members:
- Advice;
- Union meetings;
- Personnel meetings;
- Grievance meetings;
- Production meetings;
- Performance meetings;
- Performance appraisals;
- Retrenchment meetings and relevant processes;
- Drafting and implementation of employment contracts;
- Drafting and implementation of policies and procedures;
- Conducting and chairing of disciplinary enquiries;
- Conducting and chairing of appeal hearings;
- Issuance of relevant written warnings according to disciplinary processes;
- Induction of new employees in the workplace;
- Conducting counselling sessions;
- Conducting ill health and/or incapacity investigations;
- Up to date with current legislation and necessary case law;
- We will ensure that you comply with the relevant regulations of the Bargaining Councils and Department of Labour;
- Attendance of conciliations;
- Attendance of con/arb or arbitration processes;
- Settlement agreements;
- Advice (email and telephonically);
- Time spent (including facilitation thereof) at disciplinary enquiries or any meeting at your offices (including Union meetings);
- Time spent (including facilitation thereof) at the CCMA or Bargaining Councils;
- Investigations into ill-health, incapacity or fraud;
- Drafting and implementation of employment contracts;
- Drafting and implementation of policies;
- Drafting and implementation of disciplinary procedures;
- Drafting of written warnings, memorandums and notices;
- Retrenchment processes - including the facilitation thereof;
- Assistance with conducting interviews;
- Assistance with induction of new employees;
- Assistance and oversight of training of employees;
- Assistance and oversight of occupational health and safety;
- Assistance with the arrangement of training for occupational health and safety;
- Existing clients will be assisted in the registration of employees at the necessary forums i.e. Unemployment Insurance Fund, COIDA etc.;
- Existing clients will be assisted with the registration of employees at Bargaining Councils i.e. Pension Funds of Councils and membership to Councils;
- Existing clients will be assisted with the registration of employers at the necessary forums;
- Oversight of general human resources i.e. leave applications, attendance registers.
For an extra minimal fee quoted per new client, we are able to assist with:

Registration of employees at the necessary forums i.e. Unemployment Insurance Fund, COIDA etc.;

Registration of employees at the Bargaining Councils i.e. Pension Funds of Councils and membership to the Councils;

Registration of employers at the necessary forums.
On Quotation for Full members and Ad hoc:

Referral of matters to the Labour Court;

Labour Court litigation;

Employment Equity;

Payroll Administration;

Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment – relevant assistance for obtaining a BEE score card and certificate;

Assistance with Department of Labour investigations or Bargaining Council investigations;

Assistance with the training of your personnel for Health and Safety regulations;

Polygraph Examinations;

Training of your management to handle day- to day issues.
You will only be billed for expenses i.e. travelling, membership to the AHI (when required) and actual expenses which are detailed in our contract with you.
An ad hoc client will not receive the above services for free and will "pay as you go".
